Thursday, April 28, 2011     So I haven't seen my friend Aisyah in 5 months but yesterday she asked me out to eat and catch up. I was so glad she remembered me. I baked her chocolate chip cookies! She bought me a Bavarian Dunkin' donut in return. Haha. She's actually one of the few people I can talk to without having my guard up. But today, it was amazing how we can talk as if we weren't apart at all. Now that's something. It's like we fell back into place you know? I'm in love with Swensen's Beef Sourdough 49ers. I can't believe I never thought of ordering it ever. Aisyah ordered them but I practically ate all of it. Slices of beef, caramelized onions, Swiss cheese and the best part? No veggies in the sandwich. So good you guys. I want more. Oh yes, did you see Beyonce's Move Your Body video? I know it's been quite a while since I've blogged. Tumblr dominates my time these days. So much beauty in the photos. Plus, the gifs got me laughing all day by myself.

Monday, April 18, 2011 At the moment. The laptop's my life. I'm well aware that I have a problem and yet nothing is done. Plagued by laziness.
I've been waiting for any acceptance letter to come through the mail. The wait is nervewrecking. I'm trying to distract and busy myself with driving lessons but the next lesson is on 2nd May. I'm in Stage 2 now! Yay. Gonna be driving the family car in no time.

This little fella really grows on you. He will be adopted in three weeks! The adopter's really nice. I hope he'll have a great, long life with her. I'm going to miss him though. Sweet Momo.

Thursday, April 14, 2011 I FOUND MY FUCKING SHOES!!! We went to three stores and.. nada. Then we went to Harbourfront's All Bags and.. BINGO! I couldn't believe my luck. They were the only pair of size 6 available. Thank you, God. Finally! I'm wearing them now, you guys.

Wednesday, April 13, 2011 I'm going to hunt down my cherry red 1461s. I've done research and everything. Did you know there're more than 50 dr martens retailers in Singapore? My sister and I shall check out 25 tomorrow. If there really isn't a pair left..
I really need to get my own handphone charger. I lost mine and now I wait til' the last minute to charge my phone. I hope I don't offend anyone for late replies. Phone problem aside, on to stuff that happened during my driving lessons.
Before any lesson we have to look at the tv monitor for our names and the cars we're assigned to. So you look and look and then you see a couple of familiar names pop up. They could've been strangers with just names I am familiar with but they all turned out to be people I recognise. I've seen 3 familiar faces so far. 2 of them were my Primary 6 classmates. I haven't spoken to them in ages. Well, I haven't spoken to them at all actually. Hence it'd be weird to walk up to them, say and then ask 'Do you remember me?'. And they'll be all Point made.
Remember when you had to sit with different partners of the opposite sex in school every year and how it's criminal to not develop stupid crushes on every one of them? Ah, the primary school days. Silly silly.

Monday, April 11, 2011 My sister has already put Momo up for adoption on the Cat Welfare Society. His name is Momo now. Ozzy has started chasing him around the house. They're playing, hopefully. Lulu is still reluctant to accept him. I hope she isn't too stressed. I don't want any of them to die or anything.
My driving lesson today was crap. A week of no driving and I almost forgot everything. Yeesh. I had problems with gear shifting while slowing down. I hate the stupid gear. It's only because my coordination is shit and there is a lag in my reaction. I need practice!
Did you know Robert Sheehan is leaving Misfits? I couldn't believe it. That show is doomed. Apparently, they are replacing his character with another character named Rudi. I don't even.. whatever. No one can replace Nathan. His crude humour, his IDGAF attitude, his gorgeous gray eyes, his lustrous curls, his caterpillar eyebrows, his awesome one-liners.. He's so mischievous and outspoken. I'm going to miss that character. At least Simon is still around. But still.. The world shall mourn Nathan Young. );

Sunday, April 10, 2011 Remember when I said I kept hearing meows coming from the opposite block? My sister and I went down and found this kitty. It was meowing all over the place. Poor thing. We brought it up to feed and clean it.This one is playful and super active. And he didn't even think twice about playing with Ozzy and Lulu's toys. Haha. Those two are like "Bitch, get out!". In other words, there were growls and hisses. It wasn't pretty. Now Ozzy and Lulu are confined to my room and Zazzle is in a box in the living room. Zazzle shall be his temporary name. I initially wanted to name him Moo. Pretty clear why, isn't it? Anyway, we're putting him up for adoption on Cat Welfare Society. My parents would be super pissed if we were to keep this one. My mom's a neat freak. Plus, two cats are already a handful.  Isn't he cute? It's pouring now. Can you imagine if we just left him there? We saved him. I'm just saying.
Someone said true love was dead.
My throat feels much, much better! Thank you god for antibiotics. I know my recent posts have been littered with complaints about my bad throat. It's the most interesting albeit painful thing that has happened recently. And now finally, it's coming to a close. I know I should probably get a job but I'm plagued with laziness and I don't think I'll get a kick out of it. Freedom is as good as it gets. I heard Uniqlo at Causeway Point is hiring. It didn't entice me enough to go for the interviews though. If I finally decide to get a part-time job, you'll be the first to know. In the meantime, I've got five consecutive days of driving lessons to attend.
Since my cherry red 1461s are currently out of stock, I'm thinking of getting these instead. I don't even know if they're available. Hmm.
I keep hearing pitiful meows coming from the neighbouring block. ):

Saturday, April 09, 2011 So I went to the clinic this morning and they gave me antibiotics for my throat infection. It still hurts like a bitch. I can't wait til' it stops.

Thursday, April 07, 2011 Yesterday, I went around town with my sister to look for my cherry red 1461s. Turned out there wasn't any stock left. The next shipment is next year! Well there was this one place that said that MAYBE they'll come in two or three weeks. But still....  
I can't believe they're gone that fast. Whyyy.

Tuesday, April 05, 2011 Waiting for those letters to reach my mailbox. Hopefully there is at least one acceptance letter within the rejection letters. Scared senseless. I've also booked my next five practical driving lessons. Hopefully they will all go smoothly. I can't wait to drive the family car. Heh.
My throat isn't getting better. I've been popping Strepsils all day. The extra strong, numbing ones. At least it isn't tonsilitis. I saw pictures. They were gruesome. I remembered having ulcers at the swallowing part of my throat years ago. They hurt like hell. I had to go to the hospital for some antibiotics. Brutal, you guys. I see no ulcers on this one though. Thank god.

Sunday, April 03, 2011 I've started driving on the roads for my lessons!!! It was nerve-wrecking at first but I think I can drive pretty smoothly if I say so myself. I only had four lessons so far and I drove with a fever for two. Not bad, eh?
Sims 3 have been taking up most of my time lately. But it's fun and I love it. Heck, I'm even playing it right now as I type this.
So far, I've killed a Sim and married two. And my crib's pimpin' you guys. There's a pool and everythin'. I was tempted to use cheats but I guess that kills the unpredictability and fun so I didn't.
Gonna get my doc marts soon. Yay. There. MLIA. I am STILL reluctant to work. I've got a serious case of the lazies. At least I get to spend most of my time with my family. (:
