today was pretty mundane. there was bad news: Mr Cheong will be leaving us in July. and then Ms Fung's gonna take over as form teacher. this was what i thought: NOOOOoooooo... shizz man. i'd rather have mr cheong as FT. but i guess we shld give her a chance. greeeeaaat. damn. and then we had typical lessons. Phys was actually entertaining. Ms Tan and her weird antics. after sch, i had to go for some creative writing course. waddahell. it was boring at first and then Fizzy started imitating that someone's sleep antics. really cracked us up. hahaha. anyways, heading for melaka tomorrow for some wedding. i'll be back only on Sunday. i'm gonna miss everyone. oh yes i will..or NOT. anyways, i'm going to school first and then once the dismissal bell rings, i'm gonna rush home like a roadrunner. woooo! gonna go pack my bag now for the weekend getaway.

went to that GG carnival..uber booooring..managed to buy 3 Friends cds for 3 buckaroos each though..super cheap! and they work too..spent the whole day strolling around orchard road with jannah first then later joined by our dear friend, jeannie, who owes me a wonderful trip to Borders..sadly, the mrs fields at cineleisure does not sell double choc muffins..that's a goddamn CRIME!! tooootally disappointed..gotta look somewhere else i guess..anyways, went to kinokuniya instead of borders..spent abt half an hour there..went home at abt 6pm..too early really..

25/6/07:
first day of school for term 3..new principal, new co-form teacher, new partner, new timetable and higher expectations..started the morning with the dreaded spotcheck..quickly pinned up my hair before ms fung caught me..anyways, the first day was typical..nothing interesting happened..sorta..

TODAY:
another typical day in sch..i got caught for my long fringe again.. =.= well i hafta admit it IS long..obeyed our dear ms fung and pinned up my fringe..that is until i don't see her..took off the pin but i kena caught again..wth..i've equipped myself with 3 black pins..not one, but three..yes yes, i'm a goody-goody sort of person..last period: ENG..but ms hesley didnt come so we sat in the library for the hour..chatted with ern, mostly abt supernatural..so off i went, "blah blah blah blah blah.."..wrote only 2 sentences on tht compo assignment..we're all gonna die on thursday..bubble tea has become mydaily lunch..reeeeaaally..well, ciao..

i watched The Pursuit of Happiness just now.
my sister rented the movie. it was sooooooo sweet!! 5 stars!!
will smith's son is a very good actor, a cute one at that too. will smith's a great actor!
anyways, the movie is an inspirational one. chris gardner went through tough times before becoming filthy rich. the way he endured his really bad days was just full of perseverence and determination. if i had those bad days, i'd go crazy and snap at anyone who talks to me. i'd also take a trip to the counsellors or IMH. heehee. oh ya, the movie also made me develop a sudden interest in the Rubik's Cube. i want one of those! i'll try to solve one. ahem, i'll try only.
it'll take me decades to actually solve one. but if i do solve one, everyone shall know! haha. anyways, this movie is definitely worth watching!

anyways, skipped my dental appointment today because i wasn't feeling well. that's because this morning, i went to the woodlands stadium to attempt to run 5km for the hillary challenge. that's 12 & 1/2 torturous rounds around the stadium. managed to run non-stop for 7 rounds only. i walked for another 3 rounds and finally stopped. tht means i only ran/walk 10 rounds. failed to complete the task but at least i tried. now my back hurts and i've got cramps. crap. =.=
actually wanted to go out later on but i ended up staying at home.

yesterday was great..went to the police academy for some funfair for family day..i gotta admit it was the most boring funfair i've been to..wasn't close to fun at all..went there with my family and my little cousin..actually he's twelve..but he's like dwarf around us giants..keke..so we strolled around like a couple of lost souls..there was a cool "car drifting" show though..it was noisy but entertaining..went for lunch after wasting about 2 hours there..

now the fun part..my parents decided to go to Jb..which meant tht we could catch a movie..yes yes..i finally watched pirates 3! wooohoo..waited so long just to watch it..anyways, the movie was, as said by many, GREAT! the opening scene was chilly though..the way they execute pirates..even children pirates..so hitler-ish..the song they sang was creepy but tht scene was sad man..tht beckett is one tea-drinking son of a bitch..he's evurl(evil lah)..

let's move on..let's see..there were loads of exciting swashbuckling action..the way tia dalma transformed to her goddess form was freaky..didn't expect her to be thaaaat big..heeee..sao feng needs an english tutor..i didn't understand what he was talking half the time.. and the way that tai huang guy died is brutal..tsktsk..the bickering between jack and barbossa was real childish but funny..jack rules! i love his wacky antics..never fail to crack me up..

oh ya! the cute, little monkey named jack was super cute! i must have said "so cute" five times when the movie shows him in action..it's damn smart lah! i've never seen a monkey shiver in the cold..but when he did that, it was so cute! okay okay..i shall stop gushing..anyways, i tink jack is the real hero in the movie..he gave up immortality to will to save him and so tht elizabeth and will could be together..ain't tht sweet? i hope he finds tht fountain of youth..oh and thank goodness tht beckett guy died..he deserves to diiee! ahem..the ship he was on before he died could have blast the black pearl and the flying dutchman into pieces..haahaa..so wasted..

overall, the movie was AWESOME! i give it 4 stars..(=

i'm strong on the surface, not all the way through..

this is me being SILLY:
so i woke up today at 7.45am feeling calm. got ready for school the usual way..was tying my luscious(heh. i wish..) hair when i realized sth..physics was at 8am that day but there i was sitting at home, tying my bloody hair..it was about 8.05 alrdy & of course i panicked..i was running abt in the house lah..wanted my mum to send me to sch since i was gonna be late as hell..but she was tired so i left her..sat down on my bed thinking of what's next..wasted another 5 minutes doing that..finally decided to try and reach sch before ms tan's lesson ends..i rushed like a mad bitch i tell ya..waited for the bus for another 10 mins? by then it was 8.30..briskwalked to sch though i hate briskwalking..panted and panted but i managed to reach class at 8.40..that meant 5 minutes to the end of her lesson..i seriously thought i was done for..well, surprisingly she didn't scold at all! heh heh heh..yippee lucky me..

then it was time for maths..maths was surprisingly FUN! she gave us huge, bulky, blue calculators to each pair..paired up with hanisah since she was alrdy sitting next to me..explored the calculator & found tht it was easy to use..ad helpful! after the unexpectedly wonderful lesson, she then gave us a mathematical graph game!! shocker number two..did very badly in the game..almost reached "Loser" but i saved my arse after answering two questions right..Nadirah, the maths whiz, came out tops!! =D hoho..
so maths ended at 12.15pm then i had this hillary challenge meeting at 1pm..

ms lim chose me & hanisah to represent GG..but she left out the important details of tht challenge which are: climbing mountains, going to new zealand for 5 days, harsh training, swimming 50m, running 5km for a test, but ONLY if i make the cut to be one of the 8 in the final team.. *inhales* there ya go! totally shocked when mr kok explained..totally..i thought it was just a typical marathon or sth like that but nooooooo.. -.- i'm a fool.

so now i have to think about pulling out or qualifying for the team..well, i'm not a fan of heights..seriously, i might faint if the altitude is toooo high..i don't even dare to take an elevator up to the hundredth or fiftieth story..or even ride a ferris wheel..i have done abseiling but tht's only about 3-4 storeys high..dang it..mr kok said it can be helped but i beg to differ..i know me and NOTHING can possibly rid me of my fear of heights..really..gah..but i feel bad if i'd have to pull out because of my pathetic fear..i'm just gonna train for tht 5km run & if i don't make it to the team, phew! if i do, dot dot dot..i'll eventually pull out i think..then what's the point right? i just want to TRY..try only..heehee..

i didn't take that nap like i was supposed to just now..went to a SAW session with ernest instead.. =.= ..it was damn pathetic cuz only abt 12-15 people turned up!! haha..losers! yeah..i'm one of them..dot..dot..dot..more lower sec than upper sec..ratio? about 3:1..started off with stretching exercises..i was no doubt having a difficult time..haven't been exercising for a looooonnggggg time being the lazy ass that i am..anyways, after that, we skipped then ran then carried weights then finally, yes finally, it was time for badminton! yippee..challenged ernest for a while..my wrists are rusty! couldn't smack tht tiny shuttlecock..i actually kept hitting the shuttlecock as if it was so precious..i hit like a wuss/sissy/nitwit..must've looked like a real arse just now..ANYWAYS, played badminton for another hour then we all went home..i finally got my nap and yup you guessed it, i slept like a friggin baybeh(it's "baby" dimwits)..

went to watch shrek 3 yesterday..wasn't superb & hilarious like i thought it would be..big disappointment..i shall give it 3 stars..watch it only if you loooove shrek..the donkey dragon mutant babies were worth watching though..heh..they're super cute!! baby donkeys with wings breathing fire..awesome..and merlin was damn funny!! i think he's missing his trousers though..haha..anyways, the movie was quite short to me..expected more..

next movie? pirates..yes yes..i haven't watched it..i am a bloody loser..but nevermind! will watch it asap..this saturday in JB maybe? (= ...i'm sooo prepared for the 2++hrs movie..my butt will probably go numb but i hope it's worth watching..heeeheee..
